Visitors to HEDP

HEDP welcomes visitors from advanced graduate students to senior faculty, for short and long term visits.

Visitors are invited to collaborate in high energy density physics interacting with HEDP members and researchers at other institutions while utilizing extensive SCARLET resources and infrastructure, both experimental and theoretical.

HEDP will support the local expenses (and often subsidize the travel for more junior researchers) for qualified visitors who spend a few days or a few months working with HEDP members on HEDP related science.

Travel Information and Directions:

From Port Columbus International Airport: (Airport code: CMH)
Take I-670 west to SR 315 north. Exit at Lane Avenue. Turn right.

From the north:
Take any major highway to I-270. Take I-270 to SR 315 south. From SR 315 south, exit at Lane Ave. Turn left.

From the south:
Take any major highway to I-71 north. Take I-71 north to SR 315 north. Exit at Lane Avenue. Turn right.

From the west:
Take any major highway to I-70 east. Take I-70 east to SR 315 north. Exit at Lane Avenue. Turn right.

From the east:
Take any major highway to I-70 west. Take I-70 west to SR 315 north. Exit at Lane Avenue. Turn right.

HEDP/SCARLET is located on the Fourth Floor Lab side, south end of the building.

For driving participants, visitor parking is available at Tuttle Garage or Lane Avenue Garage. Hourly parking rates are posted at the entrance of each garage.
